AN ECO-FRIENDLY NURSERY

How would you build an eco-friendly nursery? We chose timber as we felt our project was particularly befitting of a wooden construction.

Its timber frame with fiberboard cladding offering effective insulation, mineral rendering and ‘green’ roof all help create a healthy comfortable environment in which our little darlings can thrive.

A PLAYFUL DESIGN

The building’s playful shape with its large bay window and pitched green roof is the result of the very specific demands of the terrain and our needs.

The main entrance has a striking gate, like the stern of an ocean liner. It provides shelter to the children on arrival and departure, and serves as a sheltered play area in inclement weather.

This important space was developed from the need to create enough parking places.
